Wired to a 10 inch cerwin vega d4 woofer at 2 ohms.

so 500 rms into 2 ohms,

i'll be bumpin(sometimes i wont even have it up loud) and it'll randomly power off, and then turn back on when it wants.

just regrounded it a week ago and problem consists.

remote wire is fine, even pulled out the deck and checked from back there.

Thats why im lost,

i called rockford on wednesday and they said to wire it to 2 ohms, (was wired at 8) and they thought maybe it would help,

well now the problem is back, and rockford isnt open till monday :(

All the connections on the sub good? The wires on the speaker terminals shorting each other out?

is it going into thermal? check the gains, its a kinda picky amp, if the gain is high enough its sending out a clipped signal, its overheating. its one of those amps that can work at 99% all day, but at 100% it shuts off every song.

also

Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build

monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now)

gain is at 5 out of 11,

bass boost is halfway up, and bass remote is 3/4ths up,

the amp isn't getting hot, and i dont play clipped songs, so idk why its doing this.
