2000LaDe Posted May 26, 2008 Author Report Posted May 26, 2008 Bad News. one of the main guys helping me out on this build while im away broke both of his legs and some ribs lastnight. i think he was riding his racing quad. i havent got the full story yet so the build might slow down a bit. hopefully still be up and going on the 1st with some help from some other friends. and the guy who is running my van, his vehicle broke down as well so that kinda puts me in a bind haha. he has my podium lol. figured i would give the update

2000LaDe Posted May 28, 2008 Author Report Posted May 28, 2008 laughing out loud. only for right now the 6.5s are gonna be like this in the back. untill i get home to fiberglass them in all different places. had to find some place to put them in order to get the right ohm load. will angle the tweeters to the back. wont be too bad. and have the 18 coaxials in the front in the doors as well.

I wanted a good entry level system...Kenwood KVT-512 7 inch touch screen.Went with alpine... 2 Type R 15's @ 4ohms powered by 2 MRP-M1000 amps, dual 2 farad caps, Type R 6x9's and 5x1/4's, Optima battery and HO Alt soon to come. All in the back off my 03 Pontilac bonneville. Simple but effective.

2000LaDe Posted June 1, 2008 Author Report Posted June 1, 2008 small update on the testing with the 3 sundown 3000ds. vids/pics to come later.... the batteries have not been charged for over 3 months and have yet to be charged since they started testing. well so far its peaking at 39hz. its done a 156.6 at 39hz and the windshield has lost its seal and moves about 4". trying to rig something up to keep from blowing out. can move out the windshield with 1 finger now hahahaha. wow no charge on the batteries. 39hz peak, and a windshield thats about to fly out... im happy so far
