I am finally going to start working on it inside to out . whats going in the car ? 2 dc lvl 4xl 12's ( thanks to rusty they now have a extra spider and double tinsle leads ) dual 2 ohm should be here tuesday ( and fedex better not fuck up ) 2 memphis MCD-1000d's ( one on each sub ) after first of year gonna do 2 audioque 2200's . Memphis MCA-3004 on the mid's & high's. Pioneer Premier DEH-P840MP (old school deck with 2 face's ... Damn I still love this thing ) 25 ft of Memphis 1/0 gauge power wire - ( it actually has more strand count than stinger and I like the orange too. ) all memphis fuse holder's distribution block's and battery terminal's . oh yeah not to mention I happen to run up on a deal on ebay and got a Kinetik KM-27 (same as the 2000) but with the funny post's and ways its going in the trunk and no one gonna see it but me ... and of course now you all but for $135.00 after shipping & brand new ...couldn't pass that up . stock alt right now until after first of year. ( we all keep saying after first of year why dont we say INCOME TAX TIME ) anyways I got the box built already and forgot to take pics along the way but have some of it anyways . box is 35 wide 25 depth 14 high port is 12.5 high 5 wide . tuned right at 33 HZ . and 2.25ft per sub but anyways i am gonna have to upload the pics to the server then i will start posting them . btw without a maxxlink and you cannot use a bass knob with the memphis amps when your using the bridging module i decided to steal MR. skittlesRgood Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 so the subs are going to be firing forward into a little wall that your amps are mounted on? i would get that amp rack off to the side. i dont know what steve meade idea you were talking about but it sounds like you need a touch pad. its a knob you put on your rca's so you can control the input voltage. works just like a gain knob. Last resort I just sell it ! you could always just down grade a bit. like... how bout we trade subs, and call it good just keep searchin around and take your time with the build. dont skimp out on the dampening either!
