good subs, i used to have 2 of them, got loud for what they were

they are. i used to have one 12 sealed on got loud on 600 watts.

now i wanna do 4-6 subs ported on a Trailblazer on 1-2kw

for around 600$ you can have 6 kicker cvr 12s where if you were to spend 160 on each mtx would be close to 1000$

i had bad expiriences with cvr's..

but if i get a deal on better subs then ill go with that..

if u wanna keep it mtx i suggest running the 5500's instead of the 4500's, u can get the 5500 1244's for $109 shipped each but they do handle power pritty good

ive ran pritty much every series of mtx from old to new n i had a set of mtx 4500 1544's n they sounded pritty good but the 5500 1544's i got now sounds a whole lot better than the 4500 series n can handle a good amout of power each

there 300rms - 600"peak" n i had a memphis pr1000.1 puttin 500rms to each n they ate it up, n i had a mtx 5500 1204 single 4ohm 12 that souned great on a ma audio hk400w amp

u can do kickers too but i like how the mtx's sound n i kno u do too, there worth the money imo, i love mine, just wished i could fit em in my car lol

Spring for the 5500's they are night and day better than the 4500's. I've got 8 of them in a bedcut and it gets stupid loud.

i heard the 4500,7500,and 9500. never heard the 5500's but i bet they got loud as well..

me and kickers dont get along. not that i hate it or non like that. they make good woofers as well dont get me wrong. but kicker dont usually work well for me. i heard them and all but ill pass on kickers for now. i just want some with less weight and get loud out off less wattage. like around 1-2k.
