Torres Posted December 4, 2009 Report Share Posted December 4, 2009 your still clipping it with a 290alt??????? there's other ways you can clip a signal besides the alternator being big if i see one more topic about woofer break in im going to punch a baby. omg i agree. there needs to be a stickied thread that has all the basic questions. i know there's a lot that constantly get asked...i just cant think of many others right now The alternator really has nothing to do with that but the amp is over rated so im underpowering the sub while I have the gain really far up so I know the amp is clipping. Well when I some how manage to get a SAZ-3500... ill have some clean power yes the alternator does have a little to do with it. if it cant supply, your voltage could drop horribly (unless you have a voltmeter and monitor it). that is a no no Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
