the tsunami has a thicker coating. the knu may just be slightly higher strand count I cant really tell

first pic is knu knu tsunami left to right

third pic is knu knu tsunami again.

keep in mind that you can squeeze the wire and the strands seem to be about the same. the knu seems to expand a bit more than the tsunami. for wiring purposes I give that edge to the tsunami

Depends on what line of Knu you're ordering... The klm (or whatver the CCA wire is) isn't the best wire out there but for the price is pretty good. The kollosus flex is some of the best wire made but of course it's price reflects it. The highest quality "cheap" power wire made IMO is ultraflex welding wire from Welding Supply.

For me its only welding cable for power wire, pure copper and the jacket is tougher than any cheaply made car audio branded power cable I have ever seen or used (including klm , fleks , monster , hyperflex , fosgate). I trust welding cable more then the stuff car stereos companies have to offer, no matter how impressive / big it looks compared to welding cable. I recommend using trusted brands for speaker cable or making your own RCA's, like Belden or Gepco.

Here is a great article that Stephen Mantz wrote about cables, its a quick run down on RCAs, speaker wire and power wire. He does some basic math and draws diagrams to show his points.
