FedEx brought this to me this morning:

Next to the 12" Adire Audio Shiva I plan on adding to my HT this spring. My daughter just had to get into the picture.

This was built for me by ssackett. I know it's not big by SMD standards, but it's the beastliest sub I've ever owned. He also did some free upgrades for me. Check out his feedback thread later for details.

Two things that suck:

1) I won't be able to install this until after the first of the year.

2) The basket is too big to fit in the opening of the sealed box that I already have. Looks like I'll be doing a ported box sooner than I thought (not that that's a bad thing).

I'm very happy so far. When I saw the FedEx truck pull up in front of the house, I "pranced" through the living room to the door. My wife was wondering what the hell I was doing. I can't wait to get this thing installed. It's been far too long without any bass.

You said pranced... LMAO

Its nice though, man. What kind of power is it gonna get?

Said it and did it. :D

600 watts from an MTX RFL600D. Hopefully I'll upgrade later on and give it around 1000.

i love those tall surrounds, looks good man. let us know what you think aobut it once shes in.

I do too. I had thought about inverting it for the time being, but I'm not sure if the surround will rub on the edge of the cutout or not. I'll definately do a review once I get everything up and running.

I did some playing around with it last night, and it appears that the cutout is only about 1/8" or so too small. Hopefully I can sand it down a little and squeeze it in there to get me by until I get my ported box built.
