How do I master sync them? Do I still did the $20 cable from RF?

na if you master slave you just hook the rcas from one to the other and put the first in master and the second in slave.....i believe thats how you do it

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

Man, it almost seems like I would need that cable. Has anyone done this themselves to tell me how to do it?

All you have to do is set the first amp to master and your rca from the head unit of course go to that amps in, then set your second amp to slave and the outputs of the first amps go to the inputs of the second amps only the controls on the first (Master) amplifier need to be set.The gain on the subsequent (Slave) amplifiers can be used for fine-tuning. and each amp can accept its own 1 ohm load. ;)
