Re Vs Memphis?

i have the chance to get 2 memphis m3 15's, how do they compare to the re's? i got rid of my burbon, bought my wife a truck and took her explorer, so i'm going with 2 15's i just need to decide on which ones.......help someone please.

Iam a big Memphis fan, and there are a couple more here on SMD, but I bet 75% of the people will say RE or go with FI. BUT again, what Memphis M3s are you looking at in comparison to What RE? Mojo M3, or the regular M3s and RE??

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

SX's are a higher model, that is apples to oranges in comparison

well thats why i was asking, i thought the m3's were just a step down from the mojo's?

so what your saying is go for the re's..........

well thats why i was asking, i thought the m3's were just a step down from the mojo's?

so what your saying is go for the re's..........

RE all the way man. Theres no way an M3 is gonna come close to touching an SX....

regular line M3 is just a single spider, low power 2.5" voice coil motor, the Mojo is a Multi spider high performance 3" VC with flat winding, high power handling, high excursion SPL/SQL woofer, if there was a model between the Regular M3, and Mojo M3, it would compete with the SX, but there isnt a mid way sub on Memphis line, but FI/RE they have everything from the low mid high, and very high end subs

I guess REs

BUT the M3s are cost effective, and VERY efficient with power, and get loud easily, but becuase of power limitations, they wont get louder than the 1000w SX sub, but should get louder easier-with less power do to the M3s high BL factor, and efficiency

well the reason for this thread is that i can get the re sx 15's for $210 a piece.....i gots a buddy who owns his shop who gives me and only me stuff fore dealer cost. and with the m3's i got another buddy who owns his shop too that wants my 250amp hi output alt since i cant use it anymore, and he wants to trade me 2 m3 15's for my alt. i can't use the alt because it was on my 83 burbon that i traded in, now i have a 99 explorer so you can see it just wont fit. so thats my whole dilema.
