Guest DC Power Kyle
It will make a huge difference. Your amplifiers will perform better, batteries will last longer. It's a win win... and I wouldn't do a system without one. You get more "bang" for your buck... like literally

Westfelbernard32
and it would give you the foundation to upgrade your system later... which is allways good Quote (\__/) (='.'=) This is Bunny. Destram
Yeah, you should definitely get a h/o alternator. Like it was already said, it gives you a foundation to upgrade to a bigger system in the future. sully
For what is in your sig, I would say yes. You can do a VCM and see if it works for you since they are cheaper than an alt but I would personally go straight for the HO alt. The HID's in your rides are covering up your voltage drops that normally are evident in the lights dimming. You will not be disappointed with a good quality HO alt. There will be different. You will have more amp and current flowing but need to upgrade big 3. What kind of H/0 are you getting because not all h/0 will put out 280 amp alternator at idle. Before you buy a h/0 you should do some research. I did have h/o but it did really needed because my system will putting out more than it needed.
