sundownz Posted January 9, 2010 Author Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 rival, Efficiency "ratings" are a bit of BS any way you slice it... it's going to vary dramatically based on the vehicle, setup, frequency, etc. The design of the 4500D was for very high efficiency... hence 8 power supply transformers to spread the load out. Same reason the 3500D went to four transformers vs. two in the 3000D. I'm sure you will see some comparative tests soon enough.
