Rusty said i could easily run 1200wrms.

its a beefed up Se

didnt scott design it?

750 is golden for that sub unless theres something crazy going on with the vc and cooling

albeit an 18" lvl3... it still doesnt need all that extra power

glad it sounds better now

bass boost was on, bass on deck is at 0, loud is at 2

gain was half way up and i used bass knob.

good lord man. thats a straight recipe for clippage stew.

with 600+ posts i would honestly think you would know how to set an amplifier up correctly. let alone know to never use bassboost or loud or anything like that on a headunit 99% of the time.

i'm gonna install it properly as soon as i find 1/0 gauge fuse holder. Went to few local shop, no one has them, wtf.

i fell like it need's more power, cause it's not moving much.

how long was the sub playing, how much power are you actually pushing to the sub...get a dmm and check voltage output...

i fixed everything yesterday, output voltage is 35.5V, bassboost is off. It was all fine yesterday, but today i switched wire's and it started burning again. In beginning it was fine, but after 10 min of playing it started to smell again.

i'm gonna recheck setting on amp, maybe something moved.

it could be your box design as well.

most likely your amp settings but how many cubic feet and square inches of port do you have?
