Marlo Stanfield
Why not just check to see exactly what amp it is to be sure?? But if it says 1k rms then you will be just fine. 15" L7s can be run up to around 1500w daily as long as you're avoiding clipping. 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... Mendozauly
Try not to run it at full tilt for a long period. They can handle it but you best have a nose for it. The smell tell's you when it's time to bring it down. I run my two L7 at 1,200 per sub and they love it. Torres
if you have to ask...then i'm kinda scared about you even giving it even RMS power. shouldnt need to give it more to perform properly.

Ben G.
my freind has 2 kicker l7's stapped to 4000 watts for comp. has had the subs for a pretty long time...almost 2 years or more. I think he turns the gain way down when not at comps.

Enellz
If its a 15 and up I say yes. If its a 12, then no, especially for daily. For some reason the 15 can handle more, which Im sure I read somewhere the 12's have a different build design from the larger sizes. Personally I wouldnt. However if you feeling lucky go ahead, but getting a recone for those L7s are hard business. If you do decide set the gains correctly, here is the easiest way: Turn the volume on the deck to your normal listening level, with the gain on the amp set to 0 so the subs arent playing, then slowly turn the gain up with the deck playing until it matches the speakers without drowning them out or sounding like crap. This is the easiest way to do it without getting into meters and formulas. Enellz
Alot of retail companies use different builds on larger cone sizes which in terms usually means a better sub. Which is way alot of people can run double the power on type Rs or L7s. But a majority of them are 15s or larger, hence my statement. Also box sizes play a huge part in RMS handling 2003 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER AKA The Batmobile Pioneer 6000UB Sundown SAZ-3000D 2 Audio Q HDC3's 40' of 1/0 Gauge 2 Big Rear Batteries A 38 HZ Box KICK ASS!
