its an alright amp runs pretty hot, depending on how much your spending imo theres better for the money.

if you dont care about hefty crossovers then it should work passive great. i prefer sundowns thermally and crossover wise and other amps overall, but as i stated depending on price your paying it may be a decent deal for you

Ok here's the deal. I need an amp that will do at least 200-250x4 @ 2 ohms. I prefer buying new. I want good sq. I am not going active. Budget $300 give or take a little what's my options?

for a GREAT quality and that much power your going to be hard pressed brand new to find something in what you want to do. unless your getting the hookup a 4125 is more then 300 shipped last i looked but who knows

what are you wanting to run off it at 2ohms?

you could get an MB Quart DSC4125 for under $300 which is a good amp or for a bit over $300 you can get the Sundown SAX-100.4

agreed on both amps althoguh i pretty much load maxxsonics amps

A guy local to me has one bnib, bought in October. He wants $250 for it. I have had 4 pair of 6.5 rsd coaxials sitting here for a year. Gonna run 2 per channel per door to see how it sounds.
