Trying to hook this shit up and it's confusing the hell out of me! I have to have to best quality possible and video. I don't care about controlling the ipod directly, I would like to control it from the Alpine h/u. I seem to find an adapter for every 2006+ alpine model but not the D901. The Ebay cords just pull the audio and video off the pins on the dock connector. inm Posted January 8, 2010 Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 The way I'm reading it is this: Back seat passengers use the iPod itself to select what they watch, the the audio/video is just read from the pins and the cable shows video and whatever on your screens. No control other than the iPod itself.
