It also happens to look smaller in the pic than the Alpine and Rockford shallow subs I've seen in the past. I was just commenting on how it looks in the pic. If a company puts a title like "slim" in the name of a product, is it so wrong to comment on how it indeed does look quite small? And I don't know if you were talking to me but I don't think I've ever bashed any brand in any of my 170 posts here. I was laughing at the previous guys statement because it was funny. Also, you will be lucky if you can get 500 to them without blowin, let alone 1800. huh?do-what? Posted January 5, 2010 Report Share Posted January 5, 2010 So I am at ford the other day getting a oil change, tire rotation and getting some replacement parts. I stop into the aftermarket shop to see about some rims. I start talking to the sales guy and he asks me what my plans are with the car, I tell him that I want to get some rims and put in a little system. He first suggests that I put 6x9's on the rear deck. I say no thanks, I have plans to do something a little more than that. I tell him I am planning on putting 2 12lvl4xl's on a rf1500.1 and 6.5's in the front doors on a rf600.4. He then suggests that I look into a pioneer slimline 12 because he had two in his infiniti and they cracked the back window and he had 3600 watts on them. REALLY? I was told to ditch the 400.00 subs for 75.00 subs. would that be the same way that Meade broke the back window on the civic? Quote God damn its hot today. My balls are stuck to my leg.
