HHR Ed put is simply enough. its all in box tune. an i agree! i went from a sealed "manufacture spec" enclosure to a nicer program graphed vented enclosure and damn it made a world of difference! makes me wish i had the program my buddy has so i can toy with it and learn more. kentb Posted January 9, 2010 Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 depends on the box. if you put 10's on a very low tuned box, the midbass won't be as punchy as if you put it on a properly tuned box. since it will lose output on the higher notes and gain on the lower notes.
