alphasig293
I has a baby on the way guys, so I have to make room in my back seats for baby seats lol. You can still seat 2 passengers in the backseat, but its tight. I was thinking of selling my jl 12's and console, then doing a blowthrough with some lvl5 15's in the bed. I would still have the backseat in but I would modify it so the air flow comes threw. Just wondering what are some of the complications and benefits of doing so. Here are some pics of my current setup in the blue F-150. And yes I know jl is not as good as the dc's, I have dc lvl4xl 18's in my other truck so keep the jl crack comments to yourself lol Edited January 8, 2010 by alphasig293 Quote 2005 Lariat F-150 On 30 inch DUBS 6 Crossfire XS-V2 18's 2 Cactus 12k's, 1 Cactus 1000, 1 sundown 100.4 12 - 6.5 Crescendo mids and 4 Crescendo supertweets SMD 340 alt, Mechman 270 alt 7 NSB 170 batterys

OrionStang
I wouldn't think of it as hard. Just be double sure on your measurements before you make that cut in your truck. Accordian boot for the opening, you should be good. That current JL console setup is pretty cool, man. You sure you can't keep that and still squeeze in the car seats? Namosh
Not that hard at all. The main drawback is the loss of the ability to haul shit. Having a bed that you can't put anything in kinda defeats the purpose of having a truck. Quote My Ram Quad Cab Blow-through

I has another 04 F-150 for hauling, its an extended cab with 2 dc audio lvl4xl 18's in it, which are for sale by the way with a sundown 3500, they are in the forsale section. The blue truck doesn't get driven much, its a 05 that I bought new and only has 29k on it, so the hauling part is ok. PUNKYOU007
blow threws arent as hard to do as blow throughs.......j/p your center console/box is really nice, id hate to see it go but you gotta do what you gotta do, plus if you did that nice of a job on your current setup i would love to see how you trick out a blow through! blow throughs are not as hard as they look, i mean your cutting through two thing layers of metal, just make sure you seal it up tight and then there is nothing left but to build the box. i say do work. Quote Doethepaperboy "Bars of Pain" Doethepaperboy "Hero Remix" C. Arson d(-__-)b beer sucks...but i can bring some jose cuervo. Only problem is that it makes me horny and gives me the rams. So unless yall wanna fight and then have some great make up sex i will leave it home.
