thehoe92
"just say no to subwoofer break-in" its not needed.. Quote Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
Guest
just play it normally. the sub will break in regardless of what volume. the less the sub moves, the longer itll take to break in.

melonhead
You will notice the sub will hit a little harder after it's broke in. One day you'll be playing it and notice it's a little louder.

dwz
Umm subs do break in I POUND my subs from time to time (obviously with a distorted signal since I normally play my subs @ the max RMS anyways) Now, its easy to blow subs or your amps but if you have a clean song and no gay ass bass boost then they should be able to handle a minute at a time of extreme poundage I HAVE noticed a positive difference in the sound level of 100% to RMS after pounding them... They basically sounded cleaner
