baaudio
Im looking for a good battery to add as a second. Obviously these are the top brands going right now and i know that Steve swears by XS. One thing i noticed immediately was the prive difference. Im planning on adding a kicker zx2500. im going to use Knu Fleks 1/0 for all wiring including big three. do i need an isolater for this too? HHR Ed
I like the reliability of the XS Power. they are built to higher standards and seem to last much longer. thehoe92
price difference? the d3100 is just a little bit better than the hc2400 d3100 is $349 and the hc2400 is $299 then theres the hc3800 which is $429 but for a good reason what you should really be looking at is durability.. I've heard a lot of stories about kinetik's bulging and not lasting nearly as long as PM's do EDIT: just re-read the last part of your post.. DO NOT run an isolator that is the worst idea I did one and the voltage read 12.4 at the front battery then I tested the back battery and it was 11.3 Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

You don't need an isolator but it's a much more common sense way to do it. If you run the batteries in parallel you will tax the hell out of your alternator. I was watching one of EXO's vids on this topic and he said you can get into an isolator for like $20-$60 and he briefly explains what it does. Dig around on his help channel and you can find it. 1993 Chevy Suburban Optima Yellow Top Kenwood KDC X-993 Pioneer GM-X314 mids amp Kenwood KFC-4675's up front Kenwood KFC-415C in back Fosgate T1500-1bd Alpine 12" Type X (Coming eventually: Fosgate T400-4, T1652-S, XS battery, Big 3, h.o. alternator, 18"???) LoudBlazer
Its no longer PowerMaster as I was told lol. Its just XS. But like someone said about alts, they all suck. One bad story may be anothers great story. Choose which ever batt you want and can afford. Most likely be a good thing but always a chance. Both brands make good batteries. Could also look into Shuriken. Same as Kinetik but way less! 1997 2 Door Blazer Bagged & Body Dropped SBC/TH350
Andrew2944r
Buy a XS, it's a better battery and resell value is the best. Team Ampere Audio
