so why didn't you use the Audioque bass knob......JW because my Audioque 2200 wil be here tom morning and i was curious.

Nothing necessarily wrong with the AQ knob.It is actually pretty effective for most as it even has the clipping indicator on it so you can back it down when you need to.Nothing wrong with it though.

With that being said, my reasons for not using it are:

1.I'm more of a cosmetic guy, and preferred the look of the small knob in the center console versus a 2 inch black box.

2.I tune everything in with an oscilloscope and set the gain according to the clipping point of the radio and amp.The LC1 knob that I use is then used as a control for the signal going to the amp, versus adjusting the gain like you would on the AQ knob.

3.And last but not least, I'm a rebel :pardon:
