Lets see your taped surrounds and etc Here's my first entry: MA Audio HardKore 18. Spider glue sucks on these guys apparently. Ground off the end of a clip so it would fit next to the step near the magnet then pushed it on. Works great for now! Yes I epoxied it once before this. edit - i'm going to use a right angle drill and a jig to make holes in the step that I can mount spider-retention plates (half-moon shaped stainless steel brackets that i'm going to make) instead of the crap glue. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. Forevrbumpn Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 nail polish and TP? wtf not a true Franken woofer, but used a TC sounds motor, on a common frame, and I had to space the frame out 1" for coil to spider clearance I usually try and do things right the first time, if I'am stuck with a loose glue joint, ripped surround, I say screw it, and re do it I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

(if that confuses you then you get the point) lol
