How much power are you planning on running? Because if you're going to run a certain amount of power to the single 15" BTL, and the exact same amount of power to the two 15" SSD's, the SSD's will get louder. Or you can go with the single 15" BTL with that certain amount of power, and then later on down the road when you get the $$ get another BTL, and double the power. All up to you, and what you plan on doing in the long run.

Are you going to have a topper and go through the back window or cut the back wall? The only way you're going to fit 15s in the bed of a ranger with a bed cover is if you make the cut all the way to the top of the bed and push the box through the cut. The bed isn't tall enough to have the subs sit inside the bottom and top boards and still be below the bed line. Here's a few pics of one of the 12'' setups I've had in a ranger blowthrough. The bed isn't tall enough to fit 15s this way, unless you found a hard bed cover that sits higher than the sides of the bed.

The cut is about 32'' x 11''

It's hard getting a reg cab truck loud sealed up. They were LV4XLs in 4.6@32 on one Sundown 3k @ 1 ohm. I was doing 144.x on music sealed up around 38-43hz and 149.x in the kick with drivers door open on the same song. I now have 2-12'' DD 9512s on the Sundown 3k @ 0.5 ohm and did a 145.x sealed up on music and 150.2 in the kick. It's still peaking at about 40hz but my box is now 4.8@40hz.
