you most likely don't have enough processing power to support sony vegas considering its native with HD

either that or your video card is lacking

windows media player is just adequate for throwing together a few clips on the TL :good:

X2 - Well said - WMM is awesome & can really get er' done - :D

You'll notice that certain video editing programs are very job specific - Hell, I use 4 different programs just to make 1 video. Vegas is great too - But to many people it will seam like rocket science just trying to do anything with it lol.

but in essence ALL video editors are the same, its mainly just the layout that will get confusing but once you familiarize yourself with it and compare it to what you already know then its really simple.

hell I taught myself how to use Final Cut Pro and they used that for Transformers so that should tell you something

or OP you could send me the clips and I'll whip you up something unless your in this to learn how to do it yourself so you don't have to ask people to do it for you

i got it, vegas ended up loading my file after it crashed thank god lol

and yeah im in it to learn, i used to do video editing with roxio when i had it but i no longer have it and its been 2-3 years easy

but vegas saved it as a .veg file, how do i get it to go on youtube now?

open the .veg file and export it

IIRC there are a bunch of options to exporting in Vegas so pick whichever one is either native or you normally use for youtube

im doing

Render as .AVI right now to see if thats what it is
