micahmye
I know they don't come with the lifetime warranty, that's the whole point of making evolve; it cost's money to replace a ratchet 4 times in 20 years so craftsman is starting that new brand without the warranty. I have a friend who works in the inner workings of sears who told me this. Not so sure on reliability, I still buy craftsman stuff. Forevrbumpn
Never heard of that brand, I will look it up. I have worked in the tool dept for sears for 1 year, and Parts and Repair for 2 years. When I worked in the tool dept, we happily traded tools in for the same broken model. Mica, your totally right though, makes sense to do a , what a 1 year warranty line, next to a lifetime warranty line up. But that 1 year warranty line up, if marked up right, WILL make more profit, if they can last long enough. Sad, I'am about to go to Harbor Freight in a minute I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
