Boon Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 I saw an SPL car double it's power and gain.... 0db. Subs were already maxed out before. I would expect you to gain with your setup however, maybe ~2dB? If you have the battery power to support the increase. 10.x volts fo' life!

Has to do with power Compression and limit of current capacity. Depends on the setup, enclosure and car. some cars lose SPL when increasing power.
