mac mini / G4 / custom

sup guys im a bit confused on which to go for

a mac mini or a g4 or my own custom pc

The G4 would be good with the hard drive upgrade, you could store everything, I think macs look a little cleaner though, building your own???? never heard of someone doing that...

custom should be a little cheaper ... no brand name mark up like an apple.

this should be in the computer section, but im no moderator... mac mini ftw dude, pulls such little power and does so much, im on my ppc macmini from like 2003 with the oem install of osx, running great

not sure doe g4 is hella alot and custom i heared the bootup is slow u know the os boot up and blah i think ima go for a mac blah *my head hurts* cant think right

If you were to buy the parts to the computer and build it yourself it would be alot cheaper then buying a named brand mac. The only downfall is not having a warranty, but if you know what your doing that shouldn't be a problem.

Depends what kind of fashion accessory you want to be seen with.

Before I get called "negative" or harsh I am assuming you just want a mac to look cool because you didn't say what else you would use it for. You gave us no info in that respect actually, so how can we even give you a good answer without guessing or assuming this thing is just there to get you laid, like a new puppy on a leash.

I personally would go for the PC no matter what the hell you do because 1) it saves money 2) it will be able to do just about anything if you build it right 3) you can game on it, which is really the ultimate test of your computer's prowess figuring in today's game requirements

Building your own would be cheaper imo.. and yes theres warranty's.. all parts have standard warranty's on them.
