Neo_frog
Well after all of the weight I've put in this poor car, my suspension system has taken a severe beating. I just had over $2000 in warrantied parts replaced yesterday, but some of them were so bent they almost didn't want to give them to me. The car is a 2002 PT Cruiser, walls weighing close to (this one's over) 1000lbs with entire suspension redone before SBN last year, here's the repair list 10 months later: Lower control arms/bushings Front struts Upper strut mounts Rack and pinion assembly Both tie rods Hub bearings Rear springs Still need: New muffler from bottoming out Stronger springs or bags for the rear They were so distraught about repairing everything that they told me it's time for a new car. That just makes me want to keep it more as I really only lost like $300 yesterday. Quote Need an install? Hit me up.[email protected]Got car audio questions? Neo_frog
Ouch, 1000 LBS.. That alots weight.. Oh yeah. The rear squats around 7". The lip of the fender is covering the top of the tire. The springs are basically doing nothing for me. I think my front suspension is taking was more abuse though by the repairs. R_Mac_1
I'm surprised they even warrantied that stuff for you. Seems to me they could have easily denied any warranty claim with you having so much weight in the car.
