nautical7 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Share Posted February 5, 2010 Well I'm currently running two 12's with 1.5cu ft each powered by a US Amp md1d and am wanting to get DC's but before i do i want to make sure it'll match up right or if any upgrades would be needed. I would like to get the lvl 3 12's but is 1200w going to be sufficient? Thats what the amp is rated and I'm not sure if its underrated or not. And the box is already made so 1.5cu ft is the most i can get right now. By the way, my current 12's are cvr's, so if anyones had cvr's then dc's is there a huge difference? The level 3's are rated for 600w rms so, 1200w rms would be more than sufficient Yeah 1200rms at 1 ohm, i don't know if they're underrated a little or not.
