im thinking about selling my pioneer avic-n1 locally to get a newer pioneer unit. its in really good condition no scratches anywhere. the only thing that is wrong with it is that the pwr button doesnt light up. i dont have the original box but i have all the parts and the manual. how much you guys think i could get for something like this

I'd say since the power button doesn't light up and you don't have the original box that'll take off alot so I'll say um you could get about.. $20 out of it... do you accept paypal?   lol jk

Well I would say if its in good condition $600-700? That would be my guess you might be able to get more, or it might not even go for that much.

ya i was probably gonna try and sell it for 700-800 and see if i could sell it and if not just keep it. cause i know the local shop still has a couple of these left brand new that they are selling for $1200 so i figured i would tell who ever buys it that i will also install it for free.

the N1 you can get new on ebay most of the time for 700

edit theres one for 500 on ebay atm, they are harder to find now because they are older

not to hijack, but are the N1's easier to bypass than the n2 & 3's? I have been wanting one for a while, but was wondering about that.

My System:

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors)

8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash)

1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs)

2-18" BTL's (for now)

Crescendo 3kwp (for sale)

Complete rebuild coming soon...

i mean can you bypass it by using a switch on the ground wire, or do you have to solder a couple pins together?

dunno about easier but iknow its different then the n2 n3 bypass wise

the N1 was the last of the easy ones which is part of the reason i wasnt in a hurry to upgrade. Its a simple parking brake ground, lime green wire. Done deal.

i would say try to get 700 for it if its in good condition and at least the mapdisc update (v1.2 i believe or 1.3) just because there is one on fleabay for 5 bills doesnt mean you have to sell it for that. I dont know about you but i paid $1800 for mine and it was $2200 on the shelf at the time so no way id let mine go for no $500.

its a great deck no doubt. I really love the navigation. The newer decks are better with Ipods then mine is, but other then that i have nothing but good things to say. Its by far the best deck ive ever had. Well my Alpine in the honda is pretty sweet too but i got love for my 3yr old N1 :D
