LEDs inside a box!!!

Im building a new box and i was wondering if anyone knew how to wire up LED lights inside of a sub enclosure. I have no clue where to hook them up so they turn on with my amps.

ya use ur remote lead from the radio to turn a relay on and off. you dont wanna hook to muck stuff up to your remote lead cus you can fry it if ur not careful. use the relay to turn ur amps and what ever kind of lights ur gonna use on and off.

if you want the lights to flash, get a set of LEDS, do some math on the wattage, and tie them directly into the AC on your amp (speaker terminals) this will take some practice and you may blow a few sets before you get ehe perfect number of LEDS in series (if in doubt add too many and then remove them until desired brightness is achieved, this saves blowing a ton of them). if done properly, you will have a faint glowing when the bass hits at normal volume, and a full on light show at full tilt.

Just use a SPDT relay. Wire one end of the relay's coil to the remote turn-on and ground the other end. Wire one of the common leads of the relay to positive and the other side to the LEDs. Finally, ground the remaining lead of your LEDs and you're done.

DO NOT wire your lights directly to your remote wire, even if it works (at first)!!

wtf are u talking about i dont see how that would work at all your impedance would be all kinds of messed up if u listen to that IMO you will burn ur car down
