Nathan - I have a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.7L Hemi and stock 160a alternator, big 3 upgrade. I will be installing a 3000w rms system (two 1100w rms mono amps and one 800w rms 4 channel). I believe my stock battery group is 94R (11.9L x 6.88W x 7.48H). However, I have a little room to spare in the battery tray - about 1" in length and 2" in height.

From looking at your website, it looks like the D6500 and D2700 should fit in the stock starting battery location. Is the D2700 the most powerful battery that fits those dimensions? If so, would a D2700 and my stock 160a alternator keep up with my system for daily use? If not, could I get away with a 275a alternator and a single D2700 battery?

I have no space in the backseat of my truck for extra batteries and would like to keep from having to find a place to add a second battery.

Thanks!

If im running a total of about 2000rms, would a single d3400 with the big three done and a stock 110a alternator be enough to keep my voltage up?

I wouldnt feel comfortable with that

This makes me feel like the setup I planned for my electrical is gonna be inefficient for my use. Was gonna install two Singer 340 alts, d3400 under the hood, 7 d3100's in the back for 4 cresecendo 3500w amps and two crescendo 1100.4's. Yeah i think I need to get back to the drawing board for my electrical lol.

Hello .. I want to run (2) t 10001bd fosgate amps .. Alternator is about 60 idle 130 peak.. I have a stock battery that I want to replace...which batteries should I get ?? I want to replace my starter battery and add an extra in the trunk.. Btw these amps rms at 1000 each so I'm thinking 2000 watts altogether
