Forevrbumpn
Man, I wish people would experiment more speaker box programs are 50/50 I have definitely noticed speaker box programs never show anything accurate with aluminum coil subwoofers I personally switch my home audio subwoofer out all the time, I switch off between 2- CDT 8s in a 45hz tuned box ( in the house still plays low as hell) and a 18" built using a copper coil, with a very high bl factor. Yet all the programs used says that its VAS of 20cf, says it needs to be in 10-15cf ported, it actually sounds BEST in a 1.75cf sealed box Yes, 1-18" 250 rms, cone barely moving 1/4", yet the house is rumbling, and hitting everything from 80hz to well below 25hz, even 20hz The Fs of the 18 is 13hz though, and Bl is 68 Dual 2ohm, wired to 4ohm under the dome just one of those things you have to hear to believe almost any sub can be used in sealed, it just depends how large, and poly fill or not I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
