on crysis need quick help

tommorow my friend is driving to CT 6 hours from where i live and im going with him, i want to put my system in his car but he has a factory HU and I dont know if it has RCA outputs and I dont have a harness for his system and i dont wanna rewire my whole headunit into his car, so what can i do to get past this?

well idk about rewiring ur harness to fit his car but i can tell u for sure that the factory radio doesnt have any rca's on it. im nit sure how much $$ u want to throw into it but u can keep the factory radio in the dash and us a fosgate 3sixty to convert it all to run on rca's to the amps.

There are a few things like a JL Clean Sweep that you can stick with stock HU.. Don't know how much $$ u wanna put into this, but a $5 harness at a local shop will be cheaper than any other option out there. You can put in an aftermarket HU pretty quickly and for next to nothing, just as a temp install.

Walmart near my house does not sell wiring harnesses. You will have much more luck stopping by a store like Auto Zone, Pep Boys, etc.

If you are going tomorrow then I wouldnt worry about it. If you dont know exaclty what you are doing and you rush, you are asking for problems.

I would wait till you have more time to do it and fiddle around with the setup.

From what you are saying I'm doubting that he has any wires ran at all. Power, signal, etc,etc.

I think you'll find out that in the long run its just not worth it to throw in a temporary system for a 12 hour ride.
