Well the new year came and I decided 2010 was my year to get a "real job" as they put it up at the shop. So after redoing my resume and having some people look at it I started submitting it. Well the first firm I submitted it to had me come in for an interview last Thursday... and I start tomorrow!!! :) It is only starting off as part time right now... which is fine by me. Three days a week at the web design firm... and three a week at the shop still! So I get the best of both worlds. Experience on my resume doing programming and getting to still do my hobby and get my phat discount! Gave me some simple tasks at first(updating a bunch of sites, wrote a couple PHP mail scripts, and working on some Bing maps+php+my sql stuff). And at the end of the day they said they were very impressed with what I could do and will be getting more hours!
