loganberry Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 wanting to play it for a while with the engine off just double/trippled the amount of batteries you would need, those fosgates dont like low power, id say 2-3 batteries to be safe, but more if you can afford it My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk

An XS 2700 will do good, and if you want extra storage for longer engine off play, do a 3100, or 2 batts. Was that really necessary i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

az73 Posted February 19, 2010 Author Report Posted February 19, 2010 uuummmm..........we use the stereo as the beach stereo so i play it kinda loud. if i could get atleast 2 maybe 3 hrs that would be awesome. by that time one of the kids will want to go wake boarding.when were out with the houseboat i just use the generator to a batt.charger to keep it going all day. i checkd out that x 3100 @ 5000 watts it weighs 75 lbs :mad: how long do you think that would last ?
