Running 2 Alpine Type R SWR-1242D

If i want to run two Alpine Type R SWR-1242D

what amplifier would you guys reccommend.

I have been told the Rockford Fosgate Power T1000-1bd

the Alpine Mrp-M1000

and the Alpine PDX 2150

what would you reccomend and what ohm should i be running them at?

if you have a different amp suggestion, im open for anything.

i have about a 400$ spending range for a amplifier to run those two type r's

should i be running them at the 1ohm or the 4ohm wiring option?

dude i got the same set up your going to want to run at 1 ohm and you should run off the audio que 1200d thats what im getting for myne and its only 250 shipped good ass amp bro check it out

he is also running a third type r @ 2 ohms with an alpine mrp-500 hooked up to it in the same sealed box, that shouldn't make a difference should it?

X3 for AQ.. in that price range you could score a 2200 and have the potential to smoke those overpriced subs.

sundown 1200 would be very nice on those. very efficient subs and you can find them for cheap sanitarium.

I've got an MB Quart DSC2000.1D running 2 of them @ 1 ohm. Still running off of a stock electrical system in a CRX, but it gets pretty loud...

My new alternator will be in hopefully Wednesday, just in time for the first USAC show in Memphis on the 27th:)

As long as you don't go below box tuning, they handle a ton of power. A couple years ago, I ran 3 of them on 2 1501BDs strapped. That was before the MT 15s went in:)
