k3n12ock Posted February 22, 2010 Report Share Posted February 22, 2010 Does anyone know if a 2001 Pontiac Aztec 3.4 V6 & 2001 Chevy Impala 3.4 V6 share the same engine and components? Someone offering to sell me a 250amp aftermarket alternator and says the both the Aztek and Impala share the same engine/alternators, a GM 3.4L V6 engine, and both should use the same alternator. Also, would an alternator for a 2004 Impala, same engine, fit in a 2001 Impala?
