This upgrade doesn't run the same things the other one did (I don't remember the techincal terms used.) And the skins from the other version are not transferable to this one. So it is a no go for the old skin, I don't see why you don't like the new setup. It's better IMHO. There is alot going on in the backend, trying to finish up the upgrade, could take all day. This is causing the speed issues.
