Xbox 360 VS. PS3

simply doing this to get some opinions on what everyone thinks on them, pros and cons of each.

i've owned my 360 for a couple of months, play MW2 all the time, have about 20 other games and love them all.

just got a PS3 today and have MW2 on it been playing that online today.

Imo on my tv mw2 vs mw2 Xbox 360 looks better, plain and simple, girlfriend said the same, and yes, all i've played is MW2 on the ps3.

the online game play is much better on 360 to me also, from all my different lobbies so far on the ps3, its little kids blaming you for there mistakes during the match, as they are at the bottom of the points list. Also, the ps3 online is so fucking laggy, dont know if im getting screwed or what, every game is fucked up and slow

So far from my experience i like the Xbox 360 by far for gaming.

I did not buy my PS3 for games though... i bought it for the simple fact i can watch blu-ray movies and use it more for the interwebs and such, pick up on the stuff xbox 360 doesn't have. also my ps3 is the 120gb vs my 20gb xbox (hard drive is waaay to small) which is nice.

i like how the ps3 also has the built in wifi and free online, but as people have told me when i was shopping around, you get what you pay for, this proved itself.

for media/movie stuff the ps3 takes the cake, all in all i'm glad i have both systems to do different things

i wanted to post this because i felt i couldn't find enough 'real' opinions on the difference between the two and wanted to hear what others thought about both

I have a 360 as well as most of my friends but I have 3 friends with ps3 so I have had SOME experience with it. I think they both look amazing hooked up properly to a good HD tv. Online play is much better on 360 (we pay for it so it should be better) PS3 has the blue ray which is awesome. Personally I like the 360 controller so much better, its way more user friendly it just fits your hands well and buttons are designed to be very easy to use especially for shooters, the triggers on xbox are much easier to shoot with and since they are bigger you dont accidently hit the RB or R1 instead of right trigger or R2. There are more things you can do with the xbox being on live and such. Personally I think the 360 is a better console but not by much Blue ray makes it quite a toss up but other than that xbox is a bit better.

if i didnt get all my 360 games for free, then i would throw the piece of shit in the trash.

as far as online gaming, after paying for live for 3 years and going to psn pfft i'll take my free online.

as far as graphics, i have one of the best TV's you can get and ps3 looks better on some games 360 on others..pretty much whichever game setup it was designed for is usually better looking as the other system just gets a port of the first game.

hell some of the original ps3 games like motorstorm look awesome compared to the current 360 games.

every one of the Sony made games ie god of war and gt5 and stuff like that are second to none

No friends with PS3...all my friends have 360...it was an easy choice for me

I still need to hook up my 360 to HD but don't want to do all the work taking the TV off the wall mount since the side ports aren't HD

PS3 all the way i had 360 it broke to easy and u could get banned for cussin while playin a game if sum1 didnt like it. PS3 i find more mature players online than on 360. And they do say u get what u pay for well since im not paying it really dont matter cuz i have fun wit my free gaming services that very rarely have downtime my connection is good never have a problem with it. but side by side PS3 is a more powerful system!!
