best set up?

well i didnt know shoot give me a break im new to this stuff i thought there was such thing as a sub and amp combo. i heard it isnt good to mix manufactures (example JL subs with a sony amp) i dont mean to like be a bug with this post. just wanting to know what everyone else thought or some help maybe. but ok...

dont worry about these guys. for some reason most people on this forum would rather talk about stupid shit than actually help new members. mixing brands is not a problem at all. and forget about JL and Sony. ill tell you what a bad ass setup would be: 2 15" FI BTLs powered by 2 sundown saz2000s. but that means a high output alt and several extra batteries to power those amps. what we would really need is a budget if you actually want to buy a sub stage. feel free to PM me. ill take the time to help you out.

im doing an audio project for my senior project

the box and everything is going into a 1997 ford expedition

On second thought, there is no "best" set up, every one has different taste, there are thousands of options for you, the best set up is what works for you...

Hmmmmm, lot of text in my head and i feel my english is to little to translate it to write it here.

Good idea to bring him away from the X-plöds and over the Jl-Audio i didnt know enough. If we want to give the young man

a real good tip for his construction. The one from the audio is that if u have a scale of good from 100, that u get

90 from these 100 for a good price, and if he want to go higher, that each 1 to the 100 cost him so much like the 90.

Like the FI Sub to the Z DD´s. If i understand it right he want to do the work for the last assasment in these part in his

school, where he can show that he know to spend his skills. To guess a amp thats out of catalouge is disabeld and not higher nonsens like funky pups. I didnt look how old r u or what u doin, but everyone knows a higher nonsen is this what

A good 15 sub cost u till 400 $ and a 2000-2500 wattamp till 1200 $.

I guess u to dig the "want to sell" topic, there u can see offers and check in the net back what is a good offer.

My personal advice there still 2 15 DC lvl 4 XL in these thread for 250 each, and 1 of these 2500 Diabolo amps. Otherwise every friendknown or miscknown firm that advertise here in the forum is known for a fine quality, if u want to buy some new, check them out.

I use to think JL's were good until ive talked to some of me friends

i was told to stay away from kicker too cause they arent really the best quality just annoying bass

i was lookin at FIs and M/A subs along wit rockford fostgate

and thanks for those who attempted to help im taking notes and lookin around if i get anything going ill let yall know and put up some pics of the build
