mazdawg Posted February 11, 2011 Author Report Posted February 11, 2011 Ok guys had a measure up i have 20 cuft for rear cab sealed and 45 cuft for front cab ported side plan is to start with a 53hz port which rear chamber tunning is,then make a 38hz port which looks fantastic on plots ,if im honest id say maybe its a bit of a risk has i know what a trusted ported box will do,but i do like to be a bit different and there is more than a few installs that are out there at the moment that are doing fantastic with 4th order bandpass.what do you guys think?? I don't think I could bring myself to take a sawzall to what is in there now, its so gorgeous. But 4th orders are super efficient and people are really starting to figure them out, why a 2:1 ration instead of a 3:1? I see much more success as 4th orders approach the 3:1 ratio. I would send a few PMs to SSAudio, hes the master of all things bandpass. It's all gone! The Celica Build Feedback If I buy something from you, DO NOT USE FEDEX!
