96saturnsl Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 ok i have a slight problem... got a 2 channel amp and its 2 ohm stable. we have 3 single voice coil 4 ohm subs and need to find a way to hook them all up to the amp...is this possible?
El1T3Bass Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 Yes, you can hook all of the subs up to one terminal on the box the have it bridged on the amp, I'm not sure if that's right but I've seen it be done, and I think that will wire your subs at 4 or 8 ohms, like I said not sure soo I quess just try it out wow now this just shows that smd isnt just any forum. Guest Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 why do you have a 2 channel amp for 3 woofers? theres no way you can wire the woofers safely on that amplifier unless you use just 2.

zayres29 Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 you really should just get a new amp cause you will either end up with 1.33333333 ohm load(parallel) or a 12 ohm load(series) my suggestion is to get a 1 ohm stable amp Btw that was the first person. Ever banned by me while dropping a deuce. Feel privileged
