* this amp is a massive monster!

i loled a bit about that. but anyway...

I would go with the MB Quart. As said it wont do rated, but it will come close and Maxxonics really does make decent amps for the price.

(Go AQ if you can afford it though, you wont be disappointed)

My experience to audioprodukts is that if u have a 100 of skills/price, than u pay for each point from 90 to 100 so much what the 90 cost.

And i dont feel that the MTX and the MB-Quart amp r real comparble 800 to 2000 Watts.

If i would on ur side in the time where u want to buy, i would grab the "want to sale" topic, in the last 3 monthes where i joined the forum

i read not 1 post from a discontented customer, good qualitys and good prices often in offer there.

2500.1 Amp for arround 500 $ + shippin, put out over 3 kw.

And the brands with arround 90 skills, are RF, DD, Soundstream, Sundown, Lanzar Optiseries, Audioque, when they still start to sale again Amps

DC, the high series from Lanzar, Orions, Stetsoms, threw the middlepricedseries.

Or budgetproducts in a good budgetquality like Hifonics, Audiobahn, Audiopipe.

Its like all, to check out for the moment of buy, what the best for the buck, times and changes are quick.

mb quart (if im not mistaken) is the same manufacturer as hifonics and crunch... which is maxxonics.... both hifonics and crunch are both overrated... they dont do rated power... if you do some reading here.. youll find it to be true... but it is cheap for its watt per dollar ratio... if i was on a budget.. i would use the mb quart or crunch or even hifonics if i was on a budget... mtx loods good... but i would say it all depends on the application...

what are you planing to do? and what car is all this going into?

They do rated, it just they do rated at 14.4volts and most people cant maintain that voltage, for every volt under that rating you lose something like 18% output(the number always slips my mind but that is close) So as long as you can keep a steady 14.4 or higher they will do rated and some. This goes for the MB Qaurt and Brutus amps.

What are you looking to spend? I wouldn't get either of those amps, save up and get something from Sundown, AQ, or DAT. Trust me, everybody told me this when I was a super noob and I didn't listen, now I regret that. Watch the For Sale section for a good deal on a second hand amp, also check on http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/

Also with 3 woofers your not going to get maximum power out of the amp because you will be wiring it to 1.34ohm

yeah I knew what the ohm load was gonna be (thank you though) which I thought would be better even though both of these amps are rated 1 ohm stable givin that they are cheap I really didn't want to take it that low. I am watching for amps but if something I cant afford doesnt come up I will be getting one of these and then save for the future just to get it up and going!
