cthedinger Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 so hold on now you told a guy you were getting a 2500+ watt rms amp and the guy told you to get a 1200 watt rms amp? like really there is no comparison here at all. the rockford is twice the size. you could also look into sundown audio and DAT amps Quote If you have any questions PM me or Add me on Facebook CLICK ME! If you want to overpay, go for the JL amp, of course you will only have about 1/2 the power. skittlesRgood Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 so you want a 2500w amp and the guy is trying to sell you a 1000w amp? he must make a ton of money off of a jl sale or he doesnt carry RF. anyways, go with the RF or look at other amps that'll do the same (or more) power for less. Mac58 Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 Rf hands down. Me and my friends compared the 1000 to my 1500bd and my rf 1500 was a LOT more impressive on a kicker CVX 15 wired at 2 ohms only pushing 1000 Watts rms. pthrift Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 yea.. he also said that its more effiecient on the battery and such.... but thanks for the decision though A lot more efficent... I guess so; lol. It's a 1000 watt amp vs a 2500 watt amp. Ask him about your electrical system with 2 of the 1000/1 amps on it. Wow. Not even remotely a fair comparison there.... kl0wn Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 Stick with the RF, they are both good amps, I have seen both in action and they are good (not that exact model JL). But, you can't really compare 1,000 RMS to 2,500 RMS Quote 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz
