you gotta stick it out man! good relationships have to be worked towards, and sometimes fighting occurs during that journey. but at the end of the day, you are man and wife...with a kid who really looks up to you. im sure that if you look back at the end of the day, most of the fights are over petty shit, and things coud be worse. just go day-to-day, do the little shit that counts in a relationship, and love your wife and step-daughter...cause that is all you got!

i likes me some audio stuff...

The most important thing is to NEVER fight in front of the kid. NO MATTER WHAT. Next, never go to bed angry.

Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

X2!!!

Man the 24th of this month will be my 1 yr anni. Me and my wife has had some heated arguments but we always look back a realize that most of them are over nonsense!!! Like King said never go to bed angry, talk it out. And if she don't feel like talking, tell her you love her and talk about it later. The key is communication!!

Hope everything works out!!!

in my experience's, talking to other newly weds, and a couple counselors, the first year or two can be rough. whether or not it is a normal thing, everyone has their differences. that is a big part of any relationship (business's, marriage's, etc...) in my opinion, i see marriage as working as a team thats working for one common goal, such as happiness, wealth, "the american dream", whatever...there are gonna be ups and downs. its how you overcome the obstacles along the way and the teamwork involved that helped get you along. you each play an important role in the relationship, and that working together is what helps make a healthy relationship. and of course, like a lot of the others are saying, COMMUNICATION is one of the biggest things that can either "make or break" a relationship. talk things out, try and come do an agreement that both partners agree on, its a joint effort, and sometimes sacrifices have to be made.

also, one more thing, i've learned that if there is a very touchy subject that needs to be discussed, have a "time out" plan. cause if things get too heated, there is no point in taking the argument too far and someone makes a big mistake. have a plan where if things get to a certain point, take a break, and set a time for later when things cool off to continue the topic.

LOVE IS A BATTLEFIELD!!

one of the biggest things to remember as a young person, or a young married couple is to not allow your friends and their relationship techniques rub off on you, out of my wife and i's large group of friends, we are one of the few couples that are making it work the right way. many times hanging out with your friends they will give you tid bits of advice which will land you in trouble, or weaken your marriage...my friends all know now not to try and coach me on my relationship...

each couple is different and certain things that work for me probably wont work for you...you just have to make it a priority, it comes before everything else in life...you can get a new job, and a new car and new friends, bu finding the one again isnt so easy...

i had to learn this the hard way, but im glad i did...im glad i fought for it, because my life is great now...and the only certain thing in my life is my family...

thanks for the welcome, i appreciate it...i've been reading for awhile...been a member at CA for a lil bit...decided to finally join here...as for the marriage stuff...it's just my .02, i've seen so many around me crumble and destroy their lives as well as the lives of the kids they have brought into the world, it all boils down to lack of commitment, and responsibility...

Here's my 2 cents...Get ahold of some Viagra, Hump all the time...Don't give em a chance to argue or whatever..Just use the ground and pound game to your advantage...Just be careful or you will end up with 3 boys, like I did...Ha Ha...nah..Me and my old lady argue all the time..She has gotten used to me just letting her vent and I let it go in one ear and out the other...I DON"T CARE WHO YOU ARE>>>EVERY WOMAN IN THE WORLD HAS SNAKES IN THERE HEAD>>!! THEY JUST GO INTO HIBERNATION< BUT LET EM GET HOT AN THEY COME OUT TO SUN!!! If you know what I mean...
