kx519
how about this? Seems like it would be loud. Edit: But tuning it equally would be hard. Blackedout
Innovative. Try it out. We can all tell you it won't sound good and this and that, but you won't ever know till you actually try it. Quote Trunk Build Log
Watch the bass
Dont push with a bigger woofer to the small ones. And there is no realy diffrence to work with 12 and 10´s. U can build box with a 15 or 18 woofer for the lows and 8´s or 10´s for hard kicking midbass. But for good kicking midbass better to place 8´s in the doors. In case only the lows the ear cant locate. skittlesRgood
it reminds me of an ABC box. i would say, give it a try. the ABC box looks retarded to me but it works. tuning those radiators will be interesting. edit- try the 1st one. the second wouldnt work. i would do ported box on the back side and just the sealed radiator with the 10"s on the front side. then you can tune the port real low and have the radiator tuned higher. STEvil
Just realized I goofed up on my design a tad.. here's a better representation. You could add a passive radiator or two to either the front or rear chamber but really, passive radiators in conjunction with ports isnt the best option. Quote MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
