Amalan Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 i went up to haspin acres in indiana last weekend and took a bunch of pics of me and my friend off roading. it was kinda stupid of us to go in one car off roading in a completely stock 96 jeep grand cherokee limited with street tires nonetheless. man i was amazed at what this car could do. my friend was alot more confident in the car than i was since it was my truck not his but this baby is seeing its last leg sadly. its got 200k on the motor and still running strong but i can sense its going to die sometime soon so i decided to have my fun with her before she goes and man did i lol. i had a crazy fun time even tho the truck is pretty much trashed. the front bumper is scratched up from my friend ramming the truck into the ground at like a v shaped dip and also running into a tree which i captured all on video lol. then i was in mud and tried to get out on an angled slope but since street tires blow in mud once the car got onto solid ground, it slid into a rock and smashed the driver side rocker panel. and the passanger side door panels are scraped up from a tree stump that was near impossible to see lol. anyway enough talking here are some pics decided to take some before pics while she was um well clean omfg we found a mud puddle!!! we decided to take some action shots lol tbc

Amalan Posted June 14, 2007 Author Report Posted June 14, 2007 now here is where it got messy. we saw a mud pit and it didnt look too deep but we saw a few broken tow straps there but we were feeling ambitious so we went for it... bad fucking idea... before entering the pit... feelin pretty good about it lol i told him to stay to the right but he went to the left and well the result of that is this wasnt too bad here, but we dug ourselves down even more trying to get out... bad idea yet again luckily we found a guy with a 500cc atv and that bitch pulled us with me redlining my 200k mile engine. aftermath wasnt pretty... sway bar protector got pulled by the mud bumper was filled with mud so it was bogging us down and wouldnt let us come out so the clips blew off into the mud somewhere meh its had better days lol so we mashed back on the bumper and zip tied the sway bar protector down and continued our "journey"

FUCK YOU MUD we were stopped by this little guy he was kinda scared of us... we put him off to the side so people wouldnt run over him and were back on the trail... these drops were hella scary on the way back we saw this really weird house so i decided to take a picture of it i never realized my jeep could do half the shit it could do so ive pretty much become a jeep fan boy now lol. for a stocker, it lived up to its name to what it did and i was impressed so im hoping i can get this car to last as long as it can. all in all i had so much fun on this trip. it was a blast this is my first time 4 wheelin and it was awesome i plan on doing it again but maybe with a trail of jeeps or something so i dont get stranded for an hour when i get stuck lmfao. but i hope you guys liked the pics even tho there are like a bajillion of them. heres a vid of us using the moto-cross ramps... with a 5000lbs suv... we were on a streak of brilliant ideas, we know. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v638/New...rrent=Movie.flv
