So i learned some new things at work today LMFAO

Recommended Posts

Okay so I work at pepboys started on monday.. Today i learned that Two 13.5 w7's is Louder and better then two 15" L7's . I also learned that for my new setup running Three Amps one per sub is a bad idea because "I dont know how to tune the gain right" and it will hurt my subs ..... forgot i dont have my gains set the right way now  I also learned that putting three subs in the same back is a bad idea because it will make them go out of fase cant spell . I was told to make three different boxes so that they will all sound the same . I was also told that wiring a final load of 1 ohm is bad . because it will short the amp.... So i said what happens if the Amp is best at 1ohm .... he said they dont make them.... I also asked why is it good to have a 3ohm woofer instead of a D2 or D4 or D1 he said because 3ohms is better for any amp... I love the idiots i work with >.<

Reminds me of my friend who said they don't make a 0/1 gauge wire. Who also has a "degree" in car audio.

haha, tell him to research "acoustic coupled" enclosures.

In fact, just tell him to stop talking until he learns more.

Putting woofers in the same chamber actually does the opposite of what he is talking about. You are more likely to have phase issues with them in separate chambers.
