Light Filler 3...Sandable primer? 4... 5... 1.stretched the carpet. Good ole trunk liner charcoal gray. 2.Fiberglass resined. two coats. 3.used mini d/a sander took knock down crazy high spots. 4.coated entire piece in regular body filler. Sanded. 5.coated regular body fill with glazing putty. 6.sanded till smooth with 80 grit blocked out with rubber block 7.sanded with 180/220 get rid of the heavy 80 grit scratches 8.primered with a good ole rattle can 9.put a guide coat to see where high/low spots were. 10.sanded a bit more/ dropped another coat of ratle can primer. gave it to my boy at the paint shop he put one coat of automotive primer on it and shot it color match. I prep all my stuff with items you can buy at home depot minus the glazing putty. That shit will save your life especially if you hate sanding for hours much easier to sand. downside is strength. But on an amp cover or any type of cosmetic piece it works out pretty well.
